Service to Others
Michelle Benedetti began working as an ongoing social worker in the Cape Ann/Salem office in 1998. She transferred to the Haverhill office in 2001 as an investigator. She serviced the Haverhill, Amesbury, Salisbury, Newburyport, Byfield, Topsfield, Rowley, Georgetown, Newbury, Ipswich, Groveland, Merrimac and West Newbury. Michelle was a dedicated social worker who ensured the safety of the children and services to the families in need. Michelle was an emergency response worker (ERW) for 16 years. She worked after hours at night and the weekends when emergencies arose. Michelle became the Investigation Supervisor in April of 2018 in the Haverhill Area. Investigations was her passion and the unit was lucky to have her experience and knowledge of the job. Michelle was awarded the One with Courage Award given by the Essex Children's Advocacy Center/DA's office in April of 2019.
